Forum The Shopping Mall is giving away $10 voucher and a Samsonite backpack worth $45 to the first 100 readers. Just present the coupon and redeem from August 1, 2011 from 10am – 9pm. At least that’s what I read from the youngparents magazine.
Told my hubby that I would like to be at the mall by 10am, hopefully to get a chance to redeem this cute giraffe backpack for Sophia. It’s so adorable and it’s FREE! Worth to try isn’t it? :) My hubby thinks I don’t stand a chance, Singaporeans don’t mind queuing and they are early riser to do that! However no love lost since it’s my 1st time redeeming a freebie, why not check it out!?
We reached Forum mall at 9:50am, the mall was still quiet and shops are still closed. But to my surprise, the queue to redeem this freebie was long already!!! I wasn’t early at all! There were at least 30-40 people standing in line in front of me …
At about 10am, I saw their staffs rolling a trolley loaded with the Samsonite backpacks for collection :)
By the time I collected mine (lucky I’m still within the first 100!), the queue has not subsided instead more people has lined up for this (picture below)! Some came with strollers and even carrying their baby while lining for the freebie. I hope they get their share of this cute backpacks. I guess all 100 pieces will be out for grab within 30 minutes!
I left the place at 10:19am with a happy smile plastered on my face! When I show my hubby the backpack, he was amazed that I actually manage to get one! He has low expectations of me getting into the first 100 people … And it’s really a worth wait for this! Hope Sophia likes it!
