Every morning around 5am Sophia will be waking up for a light breast feeding snack (yes, M.I.L.K only) before dosing off in bed with me till about 8am-ish. Today was special, she usually let me catch my sleep while entertaining herself playing and exploring possible ways to suck her hands and feet while making sounds of … ooohh…gaaaa…ahhhh…
When she is ready, she will give me a wake up call with a few high pitch tone, usually means “I’m hungryyyy!” or “I’m bored!”.
I opened my eyes and saw my little angel giving me her cutest yet cheekiest smile ever! Such pleasant morning, I thought. Next thing I saw was her performing her new skill for me to watch! For the first time, she was able to lift her whole body up supported by her arms and legs (head included in this act)! I was taken by surprised and gave her my cheer!! “Yay Sophia!!! You’re such a performer!! Great job” … clap … clap … clap!!! Oh, my little girl got more excited and repeated the position again and again and again … Each time she was able to hold it longer and longer!
Took out my iPhone and started to document my little baby’s new acquired skills!
P/S, Sophia repeated this cute act the whole day … wonder if she will continue her stunt tomorrow, the next day , the day after … and so on!
