Safety Harness

My little energizer bunny is growing fast and rapidly getting into more dangerous exploration with new things in her life.
I’m on a mission to search for the ideal safety harness when she started walking on her own – which I foresee that will be very soon! The last thing I want is losing her in a crowded mall/place within seconds of not paying attention to her. And Sophia has a strong force to break free easily too!

The world that we are living in now is no longer safe especially for children to run around freely unattended. I rather look like an awful parent in strangers eye for keeping my child within my sight by having a harness on her body. It’s better to be safe than sorry. The thought of losing my child is greater than perspective of strangers.

But of course, the safety harness has to still look somewhat nice and practical! :)

In search of one, I stumbled upon BRICA. The little mini size backpack that look so ultra adorable on a toddler body, and has spacious room to keep my girl’s essentials like nappy, toys, snacks, bottle, book, towel etc. It’s perfect mini backpack for walk-around without me carrying a heavy diaper bag for a brief shopping or a walk in the park. The mesh pocket in front and side pockets are convenient to access items easily!

IMG_0935 It comes in lovely purple/pink for girl and a blue for boy.

Furthermore with the shock absorbing tether, what’s not to like about this safety harness that looks cute yet functional!!    IMG_0937

Okay, besides all the cons on this product … The ONLY pros I had about this safety harness is the comfort of the strap. Compared to the Gold Bug Harness Buddy that are made from soft furry fabric material.

img-boy-backpackI’m not a big fan of my kid carrying a toy around her back (although it look cute on picture) but it doesn’t serve much purpose other than a small zipper pocket (that’ll probably fit your car keys only!) and adding extra body heat to her in this hot climate weather. She will probably be drench by her sweats!
