Mother’s Day with mom ;)

Mother’s Day, is finally here!
In case you forget when Mother’s Day will be every year or just want to plan something special ahead of time for your mom … Here’s a guideline that I remember since I was young!

MOTHER’S Day falls on the 2nd SUNDAY of MAY.
As for FATHER’S DAY falls on the 3rd SUNDAY of JUNE.

I’ll never forget Mother’s Day every year! Simple and easy to remember isn’t it? ;)
Anyways how can anyone forget this special day?!! You’ll be reminded from TV, radio, newspapers ads, promotions held by stores, restaurant etc etc … It’s such a huge celebration that perhaps someday they’ll make it a public holiday?!
Our Mother’s Day was celebrated with a delicious lunch and yummy desserts at Alexis. I love their duck confit with warm pear salad and been meaning to bring my mom there. We opt for The Gardens for their larger restaurant space. We arrived at the mall as early as 11am, parking was a breeze! I love the start of our day! Weekends parking can be a nightmare in KL!!
We were the first few customer at the restaurant too! You can tell by the photos taken! Almost empty without any people in the background! Hehehe … Snap it with my trusted Canon 500D 17-55mm F2.8 lens!

We ♥ our moms! This window display says it all!! And who can fit to pose in front of this window other than mother! Happy Mother’s Day! You’re so special to us everyday not only on Mother’s Day ;)

Our meal start with desserts … not according to the norm of desserts being the after meal deal! Who says you can’t have a sweet start?
