Baby Shower!

So many of my friends are entering motherhood this year! Funny thing is that this is the year where “BOYS” rule! Everyone that I know who are expecting, will be having a baby BOY ;)
Jackie and Becky will be having their join baby shower party this weekend ;) I’ve designed Jackie’s baby shower card as seen in my previous post using “POPcorn” theme. Here’s another card design for Becky’s baby shower!

The theme for Becky’s card was simply “BABY SHOWER”!
I’ve created a few layers to give this card a 3D effect. I’ve freehand drawn a bath tub, cut and distress it with mustard seed colour. For the tub’s legs, it is embellish with flower buttons that matches perfectly with my tub’s frame in apple green floral prints.
A layer of transparent plastic was layered on top of the blue pattern paper. To create bath time bubbles, I punched some a silver shimmer paper and added crystal ice stickles to give the bubbles some shimmering effect. The bubbles are loosely inserted inside the plastic frame. When so shake the bubbles will have free movement inside the frame, which looks like bubbles floating in the air! ;)

Materials used: All pattern papers are from Ki Memories, alphas stickers are from Sassafras – Nerdy Glitter Alpha and Websters Pages – Lullaby collection, lemon dimensional sticker from American Crafts – Dear Lizzy collection, foam ducks from American Crafts – Newhouse collection.

Meanwhile … the video for Jackie’s “You’re about to POP!” card took way too long to upload!! Waited for 2 hours, and only 5% was loaded!! So I decided to do another recording, making it shorter and sweeter.
