Oh cakes …

It’s SUNDAY!!! The baby shower cake that I’ve ordered from
“cup cake divinity” will be delivering to our home in about 3 hours! I’m so excited to see how the cake design will turn out to be!
If you are following my previous post on baby shower cake, I’ve changed the design that I originally wanted. To recap, here’s the simple cake design I requested Annie to baked.

But after showing my hubby picture of this cake design, he commented that “it’s a very plain looking cake, in which you may buy it from any confectionery shop!”
Grrrrrrr…..!!! What?!!! 
I showed him the rest of the cake pictures I’ve researched and he pointed out that this design looks the best!

Yeah, of course it looks nice! It’s a lot of workmanship, two tiered cake, with many details … Hmm … wonder if the PRICE will be sweet as well?! ;)
Anyways, I quickly contacted Annie, it is now 2 days before the delivery! I wonder if I can make changes to the design and how much it will cost? GOOD NEWS is that there will not be additional charges and it will one-tier (as per original order) cake.
Oh that’s great!!!
Now we can have a nicer, more complicated design cake at the same price of $180 (excluding delivery charges) for a 10” cake!!!!
Let’s see how the actual cake turn out to be … :)
