It’s December!!

Count down … 25 days to Christmas!

I’m really stressed out about the preparation going back to Houston. Darn, the list is like never ending. I’m especially concern with packing and ‘just-in-case’ lists! Perhaps this year I’m going back with a baby! It’s my first trip with Sophia abroad (besides Malaysia lar!), flying across the globe as a first time inexperience mummy! I’ve never been so panicked as I’ve travelled so much in my life, but life is never the same with Sophia now. I have so much concern about getting her prepared for the winter, the long haul flight, jet lag, adjusting to different environment and so forth …
Ya’ know the list goes on and on each night I sleep thinking about it!

As today was a busy yet fruitful day for me. I felt much accomplished after getting the visas done for Sophia and myself. Phewh!
Now we are ready (documentation wise) to fly in less than 2 weeks!

After running between banks in the morning to get my bank statement and to two different embassy in KL (Oooooh … How I hate driving in KL!!) and terrible jam coming back to PJ with heavy downpour, Sophia pooped 3x while we were at it … and me starving like a ‘hungry ghost’ that I whacked Sophia’s leftover porridge while driving! Ok, that was how hungry and desperate for food I was! Craving for Popeye's Chicken and my mom was in favour of it too, I drove over to TMN TUN ISMAIL to satisfy my craving! Got there – only to see an empty shop lot :( The Popeye’s branch was closed ~ Great disappointment! A quick thin  king, we detour to 1 Utama which is closer to home and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We went for Dave’s Deli quarter roast chicken instead! The good old flavour and love their old recipe gravy! Yums! Dessets … I popped over to Lavender for some breads (this is BAD DIET – I know!).

Then off to jalan-jalan with my mom and Sophia with the intention to buy the Pumpkin Patch Ultra cute winter overall that I’ve reserved :) I needed second opinion and my mom always gives the best! It’s the last size (6-12 months) for Sophia and it fits her perfectly and yesh! She look so so so so CUTE like a CAREBEAR wearing that! It’s a too cute to resist purchase PLUS I have a good reason to get that for winter – although she will outgrow it after this Christmas/New Year! And the shopping continues … My mom bought Sophia 2 dresses from Baby Lovely Lace at 50% discount, a pair of lacey socks and matching hair clips! Aww, Sophia was so happy and cheerful the whole time we were shopping for her. She didn’t even fuss when we keep putting on different clothes on her! Little rascal parading like a little model in the shops! LOL

Popo also treat Sophia for a fun ride at the mall! Hahaha … Sophia being the driver to Bananas in Pajamas! Surprisingly Sophia knows how to turn and swing the sterling wheels and had a great time being driver! RM1 per ride does make my little rascal a happy baby! :)

photoSophia @ 8 months 4 weeks

This little rascal was still so cheerful despite having another 2 episodes of diarrhoea at 1 Utama. When we got home, her bum and vagina was swollen red. Poor Sophia cries when I wipe her down and I washed her up. Feeling discomfort and cranky while diaper changing but luckily she is able to sleep now. Hopefully her diarrhoea stop, and skin infection will get better after applying Desitin Creamy. Sigh … will monitor her condition, if symptom get worse, will bring her to Dr. Khoo tomorrow morning.

Otherwise my plan to take her for Christmas photo shoot have to postpone.
